Before the AEIS, primary school applicants must take the relevant Cambridge English Qualifications (CEQ) test run by Cambridge Assessment English (CAE).
12 months before the submission month of the AEIS application. For the 2025 AEIS, your child must take the CEQ test from July 2024.
The paper-based or computer-based CEQ test suitable for your child's age.
At a CAE-authorised exam centre in any country.
When booking the test, check if the result will be released in time for your AEIS application.
Take AEIS-Primary Mathematics test
Based on your child's performance in the test, they may be offered a place in a school. You can check the outcome online.
Successful applicants must report to the offered school within the reporting period. If not, their place may be offered to other applicants.
Successful applicants start school in the new academic year.
