Fees, Payments & Financial Policies
Billing timelines, registration charges, and official payment methods1.1
Registration & Material Fees: A one-time, non-refundable Registration Fee of $50.00 is payable upon admission. Material Fees are strictly $15.00 per subject per term (applicable to both physical classroom and interactive online lessons).
1.2
Termly Billing Schedule: Tuition fees are billed on a termly basis and are strictly due by Lesson 10 of the ongoing term (two weeks prior to the commencement of the subsequent term).
1.3
Late Payment Surcharge: Accounts with overdue balances after the billing due date will incur an administrative late fee of $30.00. Active class attendance may be temporarily paused until the outstanding balance is settled in full.
1.4
Annual Fee Revisions: Programme tuition fees are formally reviewed annually (not termly). Any adjusted tuition rates will require the corresponding security deposit balance to be topped up accordingly. Extra lessons, ad-hoc workshops, and non-regular masterclasses are fully chargeable.
1.5
Approved Payment Methods: To ensure accurate transaction reconciliation, all fee payments must be remitted strictly via official electronic payment modes.
Strictly Accepted Methods: Bank Transfer or PayNow (UEN). Please note that cash, physical cheques, or credit card transactions are not accepted at the administrative counter.

Security Deposit & Withdrawal Policy
Enrolment retention, 1-month withdrawal notice, and deposit offset rules2.1
Security Deposit & Trial Lessons: A security deposit equivalent to two (2) lessons per subject must be maintained upon initial enrollment and carries forward automatically year-to-year. All trial lessons conducted at Magic Minds are strictly fully paid sessions subject to standard lesson rates.
2.2
Non-Refundable in Cash (Offset Only): The security deposit is strictly non-refundable in cash under any circumstances. Upon receipt and formal administrative approval of a valid written withdrawal notice, the maintained deposit will be fully offset against the student's final two (2) scheduled lessons of the departing term.
2.3
Mandatory 1-Month Written Notice: To successfully qualify for deposit offset against the final two lessons, a written withdrawal notice must be formally submitted to the Centre Manager at least one (1) calendar month (or 4 academic lessons) before the commencement of the new term.
Important Withdrawal Notice Rule: Verbal notices given to tutors or counter staff are not recognized. Official written notice must be submitted via email or via the Centre Manager's official administrative communication channel.
2.4
Deposit Forfeiture & Unused Lessons: If the written withdrawal notice is submitted late or less than 1 month before the new term, the security deposit will be forfeited in full to cover administrative overheads and slot reservation commitments. There are strictly no pro-rated refunds for any remaining lessons upon withdrawal; the final attended lesson will conclude the paid term.
3
Attendance & Structured Make-Up Policy
Advance notifications, termly make-up limits, and accepted documentation3.1

3.3

3.6
Unforeseen Circumstances & Centre Closures: In the event of centre closures triggered by government directives, public health emergencies, severe weather disruptions, or events beyond reasonable operational control, lessons will transition seamlessly to online live learning. No cash refunds or make-up credits will be issued for force majeure circumstances.
4
Academic Curriculum & Class Structure
MOE pacing, mock assessment simulations, and class management guidelines4.1
MOE Syllabus Pacing & Group Dynamics: Magic Minds curriculum strictly follows the latest Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) syllabus frameworks. To safeguard structured progression and peer learning dynamics, group class schedules, lesson pacing, and syllabi milestones are fixed per term and cannot be customized for individual students.
4.2
Proprietary Mock Examination Weeks: Specialized Mock Exam and Topical Diagnostic Assessment weeks are structurally embedded within our academic calendar. These sessions align strategically with MOE school weighted assessments (WA1, WA2, and End-of-Year / PSLE milestone examinations) to ensure exam readiness.
4.3
Tutor Allocation & Class Reorganization: Student enrollments are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. While parent feedback is warmly welcomed, we strictly do not accept tutor-specific enrolment conditions. Magic Minds reserves the right to reassign tutors, combine or reorganize class slots, or dissolve classes if enrollment thresholds are not met. Qualified relief specialist tutors will cover scheduled absences to ensure uninterrupted learning continuity.
